I would suggest either install solely on internal drive or on external drive. Splitting would be complex. That is possible if you are technically sound.

The best way to do the installation on the external drive would be to create virtual machine on external drive. As simple as that. Plug in the external drive when you need to use Oracle. Fire up your virtual machine software and you will be all set.
