RW-50015: ERROR. - HTTP LISTENER IS NOT RESPONDING. the service might not have started .

I tried running the adapcctl.sh start
command .. the result was "unable to connect to OPMN. exiting with status 0."

I also tried adopmnctl.sh status and aslo the command adopmnctl.sh command.
"exiting with status 2, opmn may not be up check log for more detail. (please note that Vritual directory, Login Page, Help Page and JSP all have all have and red X indicating the error" but i believe that i correct the HTTP error all the other errors with correct themselves"

Here is a copy of the log file attached as an image

Two common reasons for this problems are:
1) Required rpm package is not installed. Please check if both the rpm are installed.

2) The hostname is not set correctly.
Verify when you issue hostname command you should see linux.server

If not then check the file /etc/hosts
It should have this line:
127.0.0.1 linux.server

Hosts files read "127.0.0.1 linux.server linux"
Hostname set correctly.

RPM package is installed i did the regular plus the --force install..

I am working of a wireless connection can that cause an issue..

Cheers kindly let me know...

Sorry for the late reply. The forum could not be attended due to special circumstances.
If you still have the issue outstanding then you need to verify your host settings. The error messages you have pasted clearly shows that the system is looking for localhost as oppose to linux.server.
If you want me to try to troubleshoot the issue then I will need the screenshot of the file content: /etc/hosts
and also I will like to see the output of the command hostname
Thanks
