Which calendar year for creating calendar? 11 Years, 10 Months ago  
I am creating a Calendar by following the instruction in the GL section. The tutorial has example of year 2009, but it's year 2012 now, should I create 2012 calendar instead of 2009?

If you like you can work in 2009. Simply open few periods in 2009 and enter all your journals there. You will have some issues in Payables when making payments when you attempt to create payments in past periods.
Ideally you should create calendar up to 2012 to work smoothly.
Consider using data loader (covered in category: INT) to load the data automatically if this is too much typing.
