Hi Arun,
I am assuming that you have defined Company (with values 01,02,03 etc) as your balancing segment. First thing is, you have to attach all the balancing segment values to your ledger in order to enter journals for those balancing segment values. So this answers your doubt that which is that you need to attach all the BSVs to your ledger.
Secondly, for the balancing part , GL balances all unbalanced entries for the company segment in a Journal (and posts it to a suspense account).
Hope this clarifies something.
