I have the database and apps listeners running. But I have a problem connecting from the client machines. I have applied the patch for windows vista and cannot connect. Tried 3 different versions of Jinitiator and no show.
I can connect from a virtual Windows 2003 server box. However the IE 8 crashes after about 10mins and will not allow a connection
See error message:

I cant go beyound this point unless I uninstall and reinstall Jinitiator 1.3.1.21 for VMWare/Windows Server 2003 Server. Please advise on both vista client using IE8/firefox3.6.

Looks like these are version 11i errors? Right? In R12 there is no Jinitiator. I will be more than happy to provide support if you are getting these errors after following my video instructions. However this looks like your own installation of older version.
Off hand, this looks like a memory issue of your desktop. Why dont you install R12? Try using firefox if IE is giving out errors.
