Please Help : Problem with Journal level and Subledger Level Reporting Currency.

Hello Mr.Hasan,

please help me here with the Journal level and Subledger level Reporting currency.

I`m able to successfully create the reporting currencies for Journal level and Subledger level currencies through the Accounting Setup Manager screen following your videos and I can see them there.

I followed the workaround given by you in video, I created around 2 more dummy ledgers as you showed in the workaround video and I still see this error.


Really do not know what else to do with this exception here and I`m kind of stuck with Journal level and Subledger level reporting currencies and I cannot move forward.

Please help if there is any other solution or if there is anything we can do.



I saw in one of previous thread regarding the same problem, you have given the work around that Change the start_date_active for the lookup (ORG_TYPE['OU']) to match with your operating unit.


You can change the date by using following navigation:


HRMS Manager responsibility -> Other Definitions -> Lookup Tables screen.

i did the same, despite of that there is a no success.

to make things clear i am attaching the file for the reference.

Secondly i also checked the Profile HR:Business Group is set at site Level.


I Request to all other members also if any one has the solution for the same problem please help me as i am totally stuck.
