How do you define an Employee to be a Supplier.

I've done the following:
1) Created an Employee in HR "John Smith"
2) Created an Expense Report Template.
3) I entered an Expense report using "John Smith" in the name field.

When I run the Expense Report Export.. the invoice does NOT get created.

I think I need to set up the employee "John Smith" as a Supplier.

Can someone help me out... thank-you

Here is the solution to this issue...
There is a FUNCTION that is attached to a special menu.
You need to make sure that this FUNCTION has been GRANTED access
The FUNCTION will allow you to have the ABILITY to create an Employee as a supplier in the Supplier-Entry screen via Oracle*Menu

SIGN ON as : System Administrator (resp)

Navigation path >
Application : Menu :

Query up the following MENU : POS_HT_SP_FULL_ACCESS_MENU
POS_HT_SP_FULL_ACCESS_MENU_G
GRANT access to this function “Create/Update employee suppliers details”
by marking the check-box.

Click on <Save>
A pop-up window appears, informing us that a Concurrent program has been submitted
to run immediately.
A program called : 'Compile Security'

WAIT for COMPLETION.. it may take upto 1-2 minutes to complete !
