Could someone please tell me whether Oracle Fixed Assets (FA) module is the same as Oracle Enterprise Asset Management? Thank you in advance for your answer.

Oracle Enterprise Asset Management (eAM) helps you in asset maintenance and tracking.
Oracle Assets help you in asset management and asset accounting.
"Asset Numbers" act as a main link between the two applications.

Could an organisation use Oracle Enterprise Asset Management (eAM) on its own whithout implementing Oracle Assets (FA)? Does the Organisation have to necessarily implement both eAM and Oracle Assets?

No, an organization does not have to use to both. eAM is more for manufacturing side and FA is more for finance. Features of eAM are not there in FA.
