Are you using 11i or R12?
I know in 11i this was the problem. You get this error message if you create Event Alert on FND_USER table. Periodic alerts work fine.
Can you login as any other user?

I am using R12 as per the video's .
I created on Periodic/event alerts as per the video's. Tried to login back to move on with new session using our regular Login's like SYSADMIN and HANDSONERP ..none works.

Last lab that i did is event alert for FND_USer table.

I followed this blog and could able to resolve the issue http://blogimg.chinaunix.net/blog/upfile2/100722164047.pdf
basically we need to drop the triggers that are created in FND_USER table.

I cannot really explain why the trigger did that to you. I did not personally experience this issue neither did other members complain.

However I do agree that the next logical step is to disable the trigger.

Sign into your Linux account as Oracle

Source the environment.
cd PROD
cd ap*
cd ap*
cd ap*
. APPSPROD_linux

Now go to sqlplus
sqlplus apps/apps

Find out the name of the trigger on FND_USER table.
select user, trigger_name from all_triggers where table_name = 'FND_USER';

Disable the trigger
alter trigger <USER>.<TRIGGER NAME> disable;

I am writing all these commands on the fly so you might have to tweak them a bit if there are errors.
