I am trying to create a business group using the Global HRMS responsibility so that i can create OUs. In the course of creating this BG, i got an error (see attached document). I was able to go through the whole process of defining them, including the flexfield sections. However, when i tried to query for these BGs that i just created, nothing was returned. When i did a search for the just created BGs even in the Find windows for description, nothing was returned. However, i got an error "Value Ge for the flexfield segment State does not exist in the value set PER_US_STATES". Any idea what i am doing wrong and why the find window would not return any of the Business Groups i just created, When i tried to create another BG with the same name, it complained that i already have a BG with that name, even though it is not returning those BGs when i tried to query for those BGs. Looks like currently your HR responsibility is pointing to Setup Business Group.
The HR: Security Profile option should be pointing to your newly created business group for the responsibility to see it.
Or you can set HR: Cross Business Group to Yes so that your HR Responsibility could view data belonging to all business groups.
