scaling down EBS 11 Years, 9 Months ago
Hello Hasan,

I've allocated 4GB of RAM to the VM since I have another 8GB for Windows OS. So is it necessary for me to scale EBS down? Would it be of any performance advantage if I'm scaling it down? Thanks

Memory is one thing. CPU is also in the equation.
If you are on a quad core (4 CPU cores) system then you will be ok without scaling down.
If not then, then see how it goes without scaling down. You might be ok. If you notice that there is some burden on the system then you can scale down later on.
