Running FSG for Translated Balances showed nothing 11 Years, 9 Months ago
After running translation for the month of July, 2012, i tried to run FSG for the translated period side by side with the functional currency. I was ble to see all the functional currencies entries for all accounts, but Translated Currency solumn is showing all zeros. Is there something i am missing here please? Attached is a screen shot of all the reports.

Thanks a lot.

Pam

Sorry to bother you on this issue. I got it fixed. The problem was that i did not change the currency type under control value from entered to Total. Once i made that change, i got the report for the period with the translated amount.

Thanks.

Good to know that your problem is fixed.
For the benefits of others if you choose ENTERED (lets say EUR) currency for an FSG column, then only those amounts will show up that were entered into the system in that currency (EUR). Amounts always get "converted" into functional currency (say CAD). From there you can "translate" the balances into any foreign currency (say USD). To make translated balances appear in a column you must choose the TOTAL as currency type for that column. Translation must have already be run.
