Hi Hasan, While following the steps as in "Starting Oracle Applications Services" during starting the application, following error is coming -
[Oracle@linux scripts]$ ./adstrtal.sh apps/apps

You are running adstrtal.sh version 120.15

mkdir: cannot create directory `/home/Oracle/PROD/inst/apps/PROD_linux/logs/appl/admin': Input/output error
./adstrtal.sh: line 78: /bin/date: Input/output error
touch: cannot touch `/home/Oracle/PROD/inst/apps/PROD_linux/logs/appl/admin/log/adstrtal.log': Input/output error
Unable to create logfile - permission denied
Attempted to write to:
/home/Oracle/PROD/inst/apps/PROD_linux/logs/appl/admin/log/adstrtal.log


adstrtal.sh: exiting with status 1

[Oracle@linux scripts]$ ^C
[Oracle@linux scripts]$ ./adstpall.sh apps/apps
bash: ./adstpall.sh: Input/output error
[Oracle@linux scripts]$

Please help how this error can be resolved.

Please confirm if you are running these commands are Oracle user.

You can enter this command to confirm:
whoami

Also please upload the output of the following commands. I want to see the permissions in the log folder.

cd /home/Oracle/PROD/inst/apps/PROD_linux/logs/appl/admin/log/
ls -l

Hi Hasan, I have observed that installation got stopped due to some errors.
So, I have tried to install Oracle apps again. I am attaching the screenshots of errors which I am getting on the "Install Oracle Applications-Post-Install Checks" window.
The output of command "whoami" is Oracle.
The output of second command is -
[Oracle@linux ~]$ cd /home/Oracle/PROD/inst/apps/PROD_linux/logs/appl/admin/log/
bash: cd: /home/Oracle/PROD/inst/apps/PROD_linux/logs/appl/admin/log/: No such file or directory
[Oracle@linux ~]$

Default Machine Folder is - D:\VirtualBox VMs

Please help in resolving errors.

Sorry for the late reply.
All your screen shots are indicating your stage area is corrupted.
Usually a corrupt stage produces these symptoms.
Could you please verify if you have run md5sum check
and upload the output file. Thanks.
If there are errors in md5sum output then you need to download the missing/corrupt
files again.

I have run the md5sum check before installation. In the result file, I haven't found any error; all are OK. I am attaching same here.

In that case we will have to start the services manually and see
what is causing the issue.
1) Please confirm if you have installed the two linux packages and
have created the soft link.
2)
As explained in this videos start the database services
by entering the commands:
addbctl.sh start
addlnctl.sh start PROD

1) yes, I have installed the 2 linux packages & have created the soft link.
2) I have started the database services as per video & attaching same here.
