SLA - Account split 11 Years, 10 Months ago
Hi, I went through the SLA videos and they are very well explained Thanks. I was wondering if there is a way to split a journal line coming from subledger in to two lines. In the e.g. in the videos we are substituting one account with another based on supplier tyoe, what if we need to split the line in to two different accounts based on some condition. Please expalin the brief overview of the logic. Thanks

The scenarios I gave in the videos are just so that you can through the whole cycle and understand how components work. The possibilities are endless.

The main connection point between invoice and SLA logic are: Event Classes and Event Type.
Each class and type combination will result into a journal. That is how SLA will work.

If you wish to split invoice line into two then you can use invoice distribution sets. This way you could have 2 distribution lines for one invoice line.
