Installation Problem 11 Years, 11 Months ago  
I receive error:
RW-00048: Error: Verify that the format of the file /etc/hosts is of the form "IPAddress hostname.domainname hostname". How do I fix this? Thx

Open up the hosts file as root:

su root
<password>
gedit /etc/hosts

Make sure the line you have added is in the right format e.g.

127.0.0.1 linux.server linux

Otherwise you will get an error.
