Hassan, am using internet explore 9.0.8. I install all the task VM/linux/EBs/database etc... all worked great until now, I cannot load any of the forms, though i could log in. Geting some error related to oaj2se.exe. I tried downloading this file but still does not work. Instead of internet explore i tried it on mozilla Firefox that did not worked either. Any help

What you have posted does not give any clue of what is wrong.
Please restart all services using adstrtal.sh
If any of the service is failing then note down the service name and look in the respective log file to find out what the problem is.
You can post the output of your adstartal.sh and I can tell you which services are failing and where to go from there.

I did the entire exercise again, shutign db/application serever and restarting the services. I did see few services completing with status 150. I have attached the log for your reference. Pls advise.
- adapcctl.txt
- adoacorectl.txt
- adformsctl.txt
-adoafmctl.txt
all log showed these completed with status of 150.

Try this and let me know if that fixed the problem.

First start the database and listener normally.

/home/Oracle/PROD/db/tech_st/11.1.0/appsutil/scripts/PROD_linux/addbctl.sh start
/home/Oracle/PROD/db/tech_st/11.1.0/appsutil/scripts/PROD_linux/addlnctl.sh start PROD

Then start all application server services:
(This time you will see 150 errors)

/home/Oracle/PROD/inst/apps/PROD_linux/admin/scripts/adstrtal.sh apps/apps

Now stop all application server services:

/home/Oracle/PROD/inst/apps/PROD_linux/admin/scripts/adstpall.sh apps/apps

Now restart all application server services:

/home/Oracle/PROD/inst/apps/PROD_linux/admin/scripts/adstrtal.sh apps/apps
(This time you should not see 150 errors).

Thanks Hassan, I followed the above steps and all looks good, I dont get any errors (and the status is all 0). But I stilll have one more issue. I could login to oracle apps from my host internet by goiing to http://linux.server:8000. I could loging as sysadmin/sysadmin. I could see the rep/menus, I double click on security/user/define but nothing happens, I waited for well over 1/2 and tried it multiple times. nothing happenedd. any suggestions.

Check to see if you have added your server name (linux.server) in secure websites in your IE browser. It could be the security issue that is preventing you to connect to Oracle, not the status 150. Go to IE->Tools>-Internet Options->Security->Local Intranet->Sites->Advanced. Now add the name of the server hosting Oracle. Try connecting to Oracle again.
