Error: Menu compilation failed 12 Years, 2 Months ago  
I login with created user and select my own GL responsibility but when i click on menu IE8 stops responding and I get error message The menu compilation has failed.
There is no valid menu defined for this responsibility.
There are no navigable forms associated with this responsibility.
Please help - why do i get this error?

A screen shot would help.
Are you getting this error every time or was it a one time glitch?
Just in case verify that you have assigned correct menu to your responsibility through System Administrator->Security->Responsibility->Define screen.

Everytime I login and try to access menu in 11i I get the attached error.I also checked my Responsibility screen.

I thought we are working with R12...
From your WORD doc, it seems you are working with 11i.

Try installing R12, and working with it.

Good to know R12 is working fine. I won't be able to comment on 11i issue.
