Oracle EBusiness Suite home page not opening. 12 Years, 3 Months ago  
Hello,
I have installed OES as per tutorial .Only change i did in my configuration is ,i have selected hostonly instead of bridge because my home laptop is not using any network.I am able to start OES services successfully and able to ping server ip from client machine .whenever i am trying to open http://linux.server:8000/ .its doing nothing and redirecting page to yahoo ..

1- First find out the IP of your linux server by signing in as root and by running the /sbin/ifconfing command.
If you dont see an IP then you have a network configuration issue in Linux
2- Then make sure you are able to ping this IP from your host computer. Otherwise you have a network issue in VM.
3- Verify you have placed an entry in Windows hosts file pointing linux.server to the IP.

Thanks Hasan .Issue resolved .Step 3 was missing in my configuration .
