GL, AP, PO, CM, FA, TAX, SLA, AP-AR Netting, and finally Inter/Intra company

The learning could be done using various paths.

I suggest step-by-step approach.

First GL should be studied as this is the core module on which all other modules depend on.
Then AP and AR should be targetted. As they are the core modules for procurement to pay and order to cash cycle and depend on GL.
Then FA and CE could be targetted.
Finally peripheral modules could be studied like PO and Order Management which are important part of the two business cycles and depend on AP and AR.

I have tried listing the categories on the website in the same order in which they should be studied.

Hassan, I am struggling to accomplish the learning path as suggested by you. That is GL, AR, AP, PO and OM. This path can take several years to complete. Even after completing the training it would take many repetitions to master all the modules. I did start with PO and then had to go back to AP and then to GL to understand the concepts and I understand that the concepts are very important to the success of knowing how Oracle EBS is implemented. Though I am a beginner in Oracle EBS, it is not the case with my experience in supply chain. I know that I will only be involved in Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory Management and Advanced Supply Chain Management for the rest of my career. Thus I need to understand the basic concepts of Oracle EBS suite, the architecture and the approaches within a distribution, manufacturing, retail and service industry. I am never going to attempt to implement GL, AR or AP as I am not a SME in that area nor do I want to specialize in it. Even going to Oracle Website training, they provide all the concepts before you decide on specializing in a module. Can you provide a path as to what lessons must be completed within GL, AR and AP prior to studying Purchasing and Order management? I enjoy listening, learning and practicing what you teach and I am really looking for this supply chain learning path.

Few things:

In order to master Purchasing, you should also understand the functional of Payables. Otherwise you would not have a complete picture of what will eventually happen to the POs.

In order to master Order Management, you should also understand the functional of Receivables. Otherwise you would not have a complete picture of what will eventually happen to the orders.

In order to understand Payables and Receivables (also Purchasing and Order Management) you must have a strong foundation of:
1- "organization structures" in Oracle including Business Groups, Ledgers, Legal Entities, and Operating Units.
2- Chart of Account Structure, Balancing Segment Values, Ledger Options etc.
3- Basis accounting concepts including debit credits, journals, postings etc.

So the road map would be:

1- Foundation videos under GL section that addresses "Organization Structures" listed above.

2- Videos related to accounting, journals, and posting.

* You can skip GL videos talking about rest of the GL e.g. Mass Allocations, Budgets, Recurring Journals etc.

3- Study Payables

4- Study Purchasing

5- Study Receivables

6- Study Order Management

If you wish to speciliaze in Purchasing and Order Management by skipping Payables and Receivables, you can do that. But I will not be comfortable myself following this approach.

Usually following modules go together in terms of specializations:

1- GL - AP - PO - (CE)
2- GP - AR - OM - (CE)
