Re:File Space Failure during rapid pre-install valida 12 Years, 5 Months ago
looks like this is a problem with vm hard disk capacity. I have set it to 150G following the video and it seems this is not enough. As I am already in step #23, Running Rapidwiz, can someone provide a resolution so as to minimize re-doing a lot of steps? Hasan, if you are available, could you respond?

thx

finally completed oracle r12 install successfully. I had to remove/delete the vm and repeat the process, assigning 250G to hard disk.

install was successful, but now I am getting 'page cannot be displayed' error in my IE browser when trying to access https://linux.server:8000/

any dieas? I am using IE 9

My IE problem is not resolved. I still get this error "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". I have changed settings to static IP, re-started linux, start/stop/re-start db, listener, and application, but problem persist. I need help urgently. thx

IE problem resolved. the static ip setting did the trick. now able to login to oracle. had to install jvm. also had to disable XSS Filter in IE, Options, Security, Custom setting to resolve FRM-92050 error in opening forms.

Sorry Banyan. Looks like you had been on auto-pilot and were able to resolve all your issues. Sorry I could not reply to forum inquiries since last 48 hours. Good to know that you are able to login. Make sure you take a snapshot of your Oracle installation through VM Console so that you can rollback if your system every breaks.
