“The application requires an earlier version of Ja 12 Years, 6 Months ago  
Successfully logged into Oracle but came upon the following message: "The application requires an earlier version of Java. Do you want to continue?". Screen shot of issue is attached. Was following video instruction on Assigning GL Supper USER Role. Would really appreciate any help to resolve this issue.

Clicking on continue button is not going to hurt anything.
Try uninstalling your Java and then install the required version
mentioned at the bottom of the message.
