Installation: Creating oracle stage area 14 Years, 3 Months ago
In the process of installation, I gave the command “ for z in *.zip; do unzip –o $z –d /home/oracle/stage; done;” , after few hours, some how my system got rebooted.
I did the same thing again, this time it was night and when I saw in the morning, the system got rebooted.
I checked the directories, it looks fine except oraApps, oraAS, oraDB folders are missing in stage folder.
oraAppDB and startCD folders were there in stage folder.
startCD folder is having all the files and folders that it should have.
My question is, should I continue to install the rest, or you want me to delete the stage folder and rerun the command again.
Or would you suggest something else.

Hi Mohnan,

The best option is to delete the staging folder and recreate again. Better not to proceed if the staging stuffs are not in proper shape.

True. Use "rm -r" command to remove the stage folder.
