Problem Installing R12.1.1 13 Years, 4 Months ago  
Hi,
When i tried to install R12.1.1 as per the video lesson..Everything went ok till the Rapid install performs system checks .. when its ready to install ,i got error message saying "Oracle Applications Rapid install - RDBMS Disk1" cannot be located - CD Locator ..
Is there any problem with staging .. Pls help me out ..

This error has been posted many times before as well. Most of the time it was due to the inconsistent or corrupt staging area. System is trying to locate the RDBMS Disk1 folder in your stage but it could not find it. It does not go by the folder name, instead it looks for the label file within the folder. Please verify if your stage is created properly. Attach your stage screen shot (output of ls command) if the problem persist. Also make sure that your downloaded filed are consistent (Oracle has not modified the files during your download).

Please verify if your stage area has complete files and folders.
This Oracle usually occurs when Oracle is unable to find correct files in staging area, in the required folders.
