I'm trying to follow suggested steps to install oracle application 12R on my laptop and got stuck with the attached error.
Please help!!

After running the rapidwiz ->all the checks completed successfully->Err(system prompts)
Enter the location for the disk labeled
Orale applications rapid install –RDMS Disk1

This seems to happen if your stage is not created properly. Please provide me the snapshot of your stage directory listing.

cd stage
ls

This is a similar issue that another member was facing few days ago.
The stage looks bad. Something has gone wrong somewhere.
The stage is suppose to contain these sub folders and nothing else.

oraAppDB
oraApps
oraAS
oraDB
startCD

This is what is causing that message to popup.
Let me know if you can figure out what went wrong.

Otherwise we would have to go back one step at a time.

I cannot could not resolve this issue.
Is there a way I can start go back and start from scratch.Do I have to unstall both linux and VM? pleae advice

How to unstall both linux and virtual machine...I want to do this from scratch.

You dont need to unistall linux and virtual machine.
You need to create your stage ISO again.
Make sure the stage has only those sub folders that I have pointed out. Some hwere something has gone wrong.
Start by examining the folder where you have downloaded Oracle files. See if you can figure out a problem there.
Recreate the ISO file.
In Linux, remove the "stage" folder and "PROD" folder using rm -r command.
"PROD" folder would have been created if rapid install started the installation. Otherwise it will not be there.
Unzip all files again from the CD into the stage folder.
If you are not comfortable then let me know. I help you in finding out the root cause but it could take some time. I will start by asking you to upload the screen shot of your ISO content.

Hi Hasan, this is the folder structure I had before a successful installation. How come it worked for me?

a. Running RapidWiz Installer

Enter the following commands: (Rapidwiz is the name of the installer for Oracle Applications).

I created the stage again but issue did not resolve..I will send you the screenshots of the ISO files and exact error.

Sorry, I was struggling attaching the file. While attaching, I couldn't see whether the file was attached or not, so I kept on trying. That's why you are seeing many copies. Please, help delete theme. I have now learnt from this. I am not good at working in Enterprise Linux environment. Thanks.

i also tried twice to instal oracle application. in 121 of 147 unzip file message popup enter the location

I tried twice but when installing oracle application is precede, this massage popup on completed unzip
121 of 147. Massage is in “cd locator, select the root directory of the required rapid install disk.
