Hasan and all members, created a fold when downloanding Packages from ERP.com. When installing packages LS comman only shows packages.zip. The problem is that I created a folder for the download which is also a folder and zip fold folder in it. So the LS command brings out the folder inside the one I created. So two folders before I get to the zip folder. Could someone please help me with this.

So as I understand you have one zip file in the /media/Packages folder instead of individual packages files.
One solution is that you unzip the file in Packages subfolder residing in the shared folder (MY_DAP_Downloads) on Windows.

Or simply unzip the packages zipf ile directly on Linux using unzip command before running the rpm installer.

I have two questions about lesson 3 which deals with installing the ERP. Video 7 explains how to download Oracle Linux packages and in the video the source of these two packages in shown to be www.handsonerp.com/downloads/packages.zip.

Question 1: Are these two packages also available from Oracle? Could the video explain what are these packages used for and how we can get these packages from Oracle or Red Hat or any such site, instead of using handsonerp site only?

Question 2: I could not find the packages on handsonerp site

I realised that the link is www.handsonerp.com/download/ and not www.handsonerp.com/downloads/.

Managed to download the openmotif21 and unzip5.0.5 files and install the linux packages and Ora Apps successfully.
