While reviewing this section, the example implementation you have referred to is more geared towards managing projects similar to IT. Is this all what Oracle Projects is about. I wanted to know if Oracle Projects can manage Construction or Jobs. Can resources refer to item or material that is scheduled to be dispatched to the job site for a construction project instead of resources being employees or consultants. Can we associate the items in Oracle Projects from the item master? How are PO created to the Supplier from Oracle Projects? How is billing done to the customer and material picked packed and shipped from Oracle Projects? Or are these to be done in silo?

Project resources could be equipment, staff, or anything else. Anything that you need finish the project to completion.
It could also be an inventory item which could be purchased or produced. Also it could be budgeted and tracked in terms of associated costs.
Oracle Purchasing could be used to enter projec related requisitions and purchase orders. You can do reporting on committed costs that are outstanding against your projects in Oracle Projects. Most functionality is integrated.

Can you demonstrate with an example of applying equipments, or items that are needed for a project that is undergoing construction such as an in-house capital project or an external project?
