I entered the daily and historical rates in date ranges and up to end of the period I am using. I have at least one posted journal on the Primary Ledger and for the period in question.
But on running translation from Pri to Consolidated Ledger,
to translate the balance from the Pri to the Consolidated Ledger I got this error: Translations rates are not defined for this period. The period is opened on both ledgers and rates are defined for daily and historical for same period and for both Ledgers and for all accounts.
Let me know in sequence what specific setup to upload for you to assist.
Perhaps I have missed a step in the process

Did you define BOTH Period-Average rates and Period-End Rates ?
Did you assign BOTH of these Rate Types to your Ledger ?
Try that.
