AR Customer - Account - Address 11 Years, 8 Months ago
Hello Hasan,

From you video, on Customers and Customer setup, I didn't really get a good understanding of the relationship between the following :
.
Customers +
Customer Accounts +
Customer Sites/Address +
Operating Units
.
From my understanding...
Customers are available to ALL OUs
Customer Accounts are available to ALL OUs.
Customer Sites/Addresses are specifically defined for an OU, however they can be assigned to other OU's if need be...
.
Can you verify this or clear up the confusion. :)
I'm mostly concerned about the OU relationship...
.
.
Thank-you
Charlie

Sorry for the late reply.
I think I did cover the relationship of operating unit and customers/suppliers.
Customer and Suppliers are visible to the whole installation.
Any thing under it is visible only to the specific operating unit.
You can share customer accounts among different operating units.
Keep in mind, the account is share, not copied.
Removing an address from one operating unit will also remove it from the other (as it was shared).
You seem to be on the right track.
