Customize iProcurement Requisition Number 11 Years, 9 Months ago
Hello All.

I am still learing the Oracle configuration / customization.

Could you please let me know the approach or solution, how to configure / customize the iProcurement Requisition Number to accommodate the following format.

Prefix-FiscalYear-SequenceNumber and the requisition number should look something similar to PR-2012-0001 or USA-2012-0001

thanks in advance.

In Purchasing Options you can set requisition numbering to bet Manual - Alphanumeric. Oracle will expect you to enter PR numbers manually in alphanumeric format.
To generate automatic numbering in any format you can use Personalization feature. You can create a database function to generate the numbering and call this function from the Personzalions. You can also make the requisition number field grayed out so that users do not overwrite the generated number.
