Hi,

As a part of "Verifying the Stage Area" step in installation process, I've initiated the following command...
[Oracle@Linux stage]$ md5sum - - check md5_1211_32bit.txt > md5_result.txt

It has been running for approx. 9 hours and still not yet finished. Is that an expected time frame for this process?

I know, the tutorial has mentioned that it takes time but I want to make sure that nothing went wrong.

Please be careful with spaces.

Wrong:
md5sum - - check md5_1211_32bit.txt > md5_result.txt

Right:
md5sum --check md5_1211_32bit.txt > md5_result.txt

It should not take more than 1 hour. Mine finished in less than 15 minutes.

That is correct. I was able to correct the spaces and retried and it worked this time. I was about to update the status of my query and in the meantime, I got feedback. Thank you for your support.
