Hi, I have a ques regarding dep calender. I understand from FA video that GL calender must match Dep calender. Please clarify a scenario where GL calender is 4-4-5 and Del calender is monthly. Is this feasible? If not, does Dep calender should be 4-4-5 too. Thanks

Depreciation entries are produced based on your depreciation calendar.
You would like your depreciation entries to be produces in the same time period as given in your GL Calendar. Therefore the two should match.
If you are doing quarterly reporting then ideally you should be generating depreciation on quarterly basis as well.
Generally speaking, when a 4–4–5 calendar is in use, reports with month-by-month comparisons do not make sense.
