Please see the error i get when trying to assign the Ledger to responsibility. Please advice

Hi,

Please do check the following stuffs:

a) Ensure that your Ledger got created successfully.

This can be checked by looking at the status of the concurrent program "General ledger Accounting.."
which gets kicked off once you conform the ledger setups.

>> Most probably this concurrent program might have errored out in your case.


b) Set the following profile options:

1. GL ledger Name --> Check whether your ledger appears

2. Sequential Numbering --> Set it to 'Not Used'

(These 2 profile options are enough, it will automatically set the Data access set)

>> Better to set it at your responsibility level and not at site level.

Shanguma has rightly said.
You should firm confirm if you have completedyour accounting setup.
Once you create your accounting setup a GL data access set will
automatically be created and hence will be available in the pick list.
