Hi Hasan,

Enclosed is a image of my enviroment.
I am creating a NEW JE Source as shown.
I would like to enable the qualifier "Import Using Key"
This way I can import using the Source Key as opposed to using the Source Name.

I CAN NOT enable this feature. The Check box will NOT allow me to mark it.

What do you think could be the issue here ?

I read from some earlier post on this forum, that there is a BUG in R12.1.1 regarding Enabling the qualifier "Import Using Key".

Is this TRUE ?
It mentioned using your keyboard keys instead of you mouse.
Mouse doesn't seem to work.

I've been changing the setting using the MENU
Diagnostics -> Examine -> sign on as APPS
Change the internal value from 'N' to 'Y'
It seems to work, as a workaround.

Do you see any issue with this workaround ?

You should be able to use your keyboard to change value in the checkbox.
In this case the workaround will work fine but not in all the cases. When you change values through Diagnostics too, you bypass the necessary validation and warning messages which may come back to bite you later on at some point. That is why the Diagnostics menu is off limits to users in Production.

I used the Examine feature because at that time, I couldn't figure out which key on the keyboard would toggle the check-box.
Later I figure out it's the SPACE bar that would enable/disable the check-box for Journal Source.
