I follow the in struction in 03b - Oracle E-Business Suite Installation - (OLD) to install R12 EBS. I was able to follow all steps until setp 24 RapidWiz Post Install checks. the installation ends with many errors. Please see the attachment. Click 'Database Availablilty' , the log file mentioned is first issue is the environment file not found. (/home/Oracle/PROD/db/tech_st/11.1.0/PROD_linux.env. what did I miss?

The environment file not found error is hinting that some files are missing from the stage area and therefore rapidwiz was unable to install all components.
Unfortunately rapidwiz does not check the sanity of the stage area before starting the installation and usually this is what we end up with if the stage is not create properly.
I would step back and verify if stage is created fine.
You can do the md5sum check as I have explained in my recent installation videos (03).
Alternatively verify if you have downloaded all the files and recreate the stage.

md5sum check has nothing to do with the installation method. It is simply a check. I did not include this verification check in the old videos. I noticed some people had file corruption issues in the last round, therefore this time I included a step to verify if the stage is good before proceeding further.

Removing Installation:
Make sure all services are stopped. Reboot the machine if you are not sure.
Issue "rm -rf PROD" command from Oracle home. This will forcefully remove the PROD folder.

I don't have the md5 zip file in my original download and iso file. Can I download it in linux and put the unzipped file to stage directory?
Also, the rm command only reomves the files, Should I clean up system setups, such as envoirnment variables or Oracle Home?

You can download it directly in linux from the location I have provided (if you are installing 12.1.1). Place the file in the stage area and run the md5sum command.

I am not sure what exactly do you mean by system setups? Just remove the PROD folder and that is it. Reboot the machine just in case to make sure no Oracle processes are still running.
Once the PROD folder is gone, Oracle is gone. In Linux there is no Registry like Windows. There could be some hidden files in temp folder and they should not affect the re-installation.

I am able to install R12 Apps successfully. One of the zip file was corrupted.
