R12 Installation 11 Years, 11 Months ago

Hello,
I followed each step in the installation, bought a new laptop with 8GB RAM, 800G of HD. Windows 7 64 bit OS. As per instructions installed 32 bit Linux. The installation failed 2 times at the same place, about 2 hours into the installation, the error message was the VM failed. and attached was the log.
Please help.

Your log file is not attached.
Please attach the log file or the screen shot of the error message and I will try to find out what the problem could be.

Open up your virtual box settings and go to System (in the left menu) and then go to Acceleration tab.
Is "Enable VT-x/AMD-v" option checked?
Uncheck it please and try again and let me know. Thanks.

I tried this, but didnt work again, it exactly fails about 2 hours into the installation of Oracle.

Nope, the RAM of VM was set at 5012, I have a 8G RAM so I was trying to be generous on the RAM.
Now I have set it to 2048 and have started the installation.

Some people have reported that RAM other than 2048 throws off
virtual box on some machines.
Lets see if you are able to complete the installation this time.
