APP-SQLAP-97786: The Periods FOR THE Selected Spe 12 Years, 2 Months ago
Hi ALL,
I am trying to create the Recurring Template in Payables.
In the process I have created a new Special Calender.
Then I went to (Invoice- entry- recurring Invoices) to create my recurring template
Here in this form , I am able to view the special calendar which I have created earlier , but when I am trying to select the Sepecial calendar I am getting following error.
---------------
APP-SQLAP-97786: The Periods FOR THE Selected Special Calendar are not Open Payables period. In the Control Payables Period window ,ensure that the periods that you are creating invoices for have a status of Open or Future
-------------

Please Help
Regards,
Naveen

You must be getting this message when you are trying to generate invoices from your recurring template. The period in which you are trying to generate invoices is closed. In a closed period you cannot create an invoice and hence the error message. Try reducing the number of invoices you are trying to generate or open the periods.
For example if you have a monthly special calendar and you are sitting in MAR-12. Lets say APR-12 is opened but MAY-12 is closed. If you try generating 2 invoices from this template you will get this error message as MAY-12 is closed.
