I was able to kill this error by running the autocfg.
then after finishing work i done this step
1-logout as shutdown linux, which also powered off the the virtual machine
2- then i shutdown the host system

next day i ON the system, powered on the virtual machine, logged in linux
run the database, listener
when running the application it again giving error exiting with status 4.

now I want to know how can i fox this error permanently or i wana that there should be no error like this.
pls advise.

one more thing howevr exiting with status 4 error , i was able to login eBS, is ther wil be any issue if i do some work in EBs.

im unable to open the forms even.

I always tell people on this forum: status 4 could mean anything. We need to take a look at the log file of the service that is failing.

1) Find out the service that is failing.
2) Open the log file and to find out what is wrong.
3) Address the issue at its core.

If we don't look at the log file then it is simply a guessing game.
