Dear Mr Hasan
Can you briefly explian to me how to install Oracle applications on one machine and Oracle Database 11i on another machine? As this exercise will be useful to what I face mostly out there.

You mean to say you want to install Oracle R12 on one machine and 11i on another.
The best way to do that would be to create two virtual machines, one for r12 and one for 11i.
Make sure your system has more than 6GB ram. 2GB for host computer, 2GB each for virtual machines.
Also you need about 300 GB harddisk space for each virtual machine. You can also use external drives.
Install Oracle Enterprice Linux operating system on one machine. Once that is installed. Clone the machine (by copying the files) and craete the second machine. This way you will not have to install Oracle Linux twice. Now you can install R12 on one and 11i on another one.
You can connect to both R12 and 11i using Internet Explorer on your Windows based host system.
