Journal Wizard issue 12 Years, 5 Months ago
|
|
I am getting an error as follows after clicking on 'Create Document'.
I am using Excel 2007. Macro settings have been done per the other previous posts.
also, the 'Free Download Manager' launches automatically when the 'Create Document' is clicked. I click on cancel to close the download manager after which the Excel save/open prompt pops-up. I then click on open where the excel file (webadi) opens up. The error follows a few minutes thereafter.
pls help.

You need to add Oracle server in the list of trusted sites.
1- From the Internet Explorer Menu, choose Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> 'Local intranet'-> Custom Level button, set 'File Download' to 'Enable'.
1- From the Internet Explorer Menu, choose Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> 'Local intranet'-> Custom Level button, set 'File Download' to 'Enable'.
2- From the Internet Explorer Menu, choose Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> 'Trusted Sites'-> Sites. Add your Oracle server name here (linux.server for example)
3- From the Excel Menu, choose Tools -> Macro -> Security. Set 'Medium' as the Security Level.
4- Under the Trusted Publishers tab 'Trust access to Visual Basic Project' is checked.

Problem not resolved. I need further assistance.
1. File download emabled
2. '*.linux.server' added to trusted sites
3. In excel 2007, 'Medium' is not an option for macro security settings. Currently 'Disable all macros except digitally signed macros' is checked.
4. 'Trust access to the VBA project object model' is checked.

I am not sure if File Download Manager software is interfering or not. I would first uninstall that software to get it out of the equation.
