Still Stuck in Journal Wizard Launch 12 Years, 5 Months ago
I REALLY NEED HELP IN OVERCOMING ISSUE BELOW
AFTER SERVERAL ATTEMPTS, I AM STILL GETTING THE FOLLOWING ERROR:

"Your document could not be created."
"Please contact your support representative."

VISITED OTHER FORUMS & CAME AWAY WITH THE FOLLOWING SUGGESTIONS.
In Microsoft Excel 2007, I:
1. Chose Excel Options. In the Trust Center category, chose Trust Center Settings, and then the Macro Settings category.
2. Selected the Disable all macros except digitally signed macros option.
3. Selected the Trust access to the VBA project object model option.

I set profile option 'BNE Allow No Security Rule' to Yes at user level.
I added responsibilities 'Desktop Integration Manager', 'Desktop Integrator' to the current user.

ISSUE STILL PERSISTS, SO ANY HELP OR SUGGESTION ON HOW TO FIX THIS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

You have not added the site as trusted site.

Try these steps:

Step 1: From the Internet Explorer Menu, choose Tools -> Internet Options ->
Security -> 'Local intranet'-> Custom Level button, set 'File Download' to
'Enable'.
Step 2: From the Excel Menu, choose Tools -> Macro -> Security. Set 'Medium'
as the Security Level.
Step 3: Under the Trusted Publishers tab 'Trust access to Visual Basic
Project' is checked.
Step 4: When connected to server running Web ADI e.g. greg.us.oracle.com. The word
Internet will appear towards the right. Double-click on it. Select Trusted sites from
the list of zones. Click the Sites button. Unselect the check box "Require server..."
and click on the Add button. This will add your server to the Trusted zone. Select Close
and Ok.

I tried your suggested steps and still got the same error message that my document could not be created. I don't know if it makes any difference but my OS is Windows 7 Home Premium, SP1.

If the issue is still there, you can try these steps:
1.
Open Internet Explorer browser window.
Click on Tools Menu.
When the Tools menu appears, click "Internet Options" at the bottom of the Tools menu.
Internet Options dialog box appears as shown below. Click on the security tab.
When the Security page appears, click the "Internet" icon in the "Select a zone" box and then click the "Custom Level. " button.
When the "Security Settings" dialog box appears, scroll down to "Scripting" on the menu. Enable Active Scripting
Enable Allow status bar updates script.
Select OK. You may receive a Warning. Select "Yes"
Finally, click "OK" to close the Internet Options dialog box.
Close the browser window so that new settings can be used.
2. Restart the PC
3. Create new document and test the issue
