JSP is not responding 12 Years, 9 Months ago
It is post install checkup running and everything successful till JPS checking.

Checking URL = http://linux.server:8000/OA_HTML/jtfTestCookie.jsp
Messages are as below and still checking.
JPS is not responding, waiting 15 seconds and retesting.

Do you know any steps I can do at this point?

It is already 6 times checked and still checking.

Common causes for this problem are:
1) Network Problems: Ping linux.server and it should respond. Make sure your IP has not changed. Make the IP static if you have to.
2) Corrupt Stage: Corrupt stage could lead to this error. Run checksums to verify if your stage has no issues.
3) Memory Issue: Make sure you have at least 2GB dedicated to the linux machine. Reduce PGA, SGA of the database if you have to.
4) You can try bouncing all services manually and then restarting RapidWiz (with -restart option).

Re:JSP is not responding 12 Years, 9 Months ago
Hi Hasan,

It is all time delayed process as per my understanding. I have 3 GB RAM allocated to VM. after 10 mins, I did retry and everything came green and went successful.

Now there is another problem and searching for Google for last 3 days.

I have come to conclusion that, it is due to client machine browser setting issue ONLY as same URL works fine from other laptop.

Error is as below:
------------------

FRM-92050: Failed to connect to the Server: /forms/lservlet:-1
Details....
Java Exception:
java.io.IOException: Negative content-length from http://linux.server:8000/forms/frmservlet?&serverApp=OracleApplications&digitSubstitution=CONTENT....
..
..
----------------------------------------------------------

I have enabled XSS Filter in IE settings under "Intranet" section. On my other machine has only enabled this feature and works everything fine. Both machines has same IE version exactly.

Could not find any solution anywhere and I don't have access to Metalink.

Thanks,
Srinivas

Hi,

I got the answer to above issue in forms with respect to Client. this issue is with ONLY on client machine where users having IE8.

Solution:
---------

only get this error when you do not uncheck the "XSS Filter" in the options. You need to disable XSS Filter.

Tools -> Internet Options -> Security

this value available under "custom level" of "Internet","Local Intranet" and "Trusted Sites"

Thanks,
Srinivas

Good to know that your problem is fixed. XSS issue related to IE8 has been discussed few times earlier as well in this forum.
