List of Values prompt longer than your size. 14 Years, 4 Months ago  
While creating a Chart of Account Value Sets, just following the tutorials, I received the following message: “Your list of values prompt is longer than your size. This may cause report and list of value columns to be wider than needed to display the data column. In some circumstances, the prompt may be truncated.” Should I ignore the sort of message during a real implementation project? Thank you.

Hi Gavrobere,

You can safely skip this warning message.

If your List of Values prompt is longer than the segment length, you see a warning displayed after you leave this field. This warning is for cosmetic considerations only; your flexfield will still compile normally.

Keep your segments' prompts short and fairly uniform in length wherever possible.
