Hi Hassan,
Is there any way in which I can load multiple average exchange rates into the system for multiple sets of books without going into each responsibility ?
Kind regards
Bal

Import rates through the interface table using a custom program.

Hi Hassan,
This is the GL_DAILY_RATES_INTERFACE? Do Oracle offer any kind of solution for this ?

General Ledger provides the GL_DAILY_RATES_INTERFACE table that could be used to automatically insert, update, or delete daily rates in the GL_DAILY_RATES table.
Oracle validates the rows in the interface table and then make changes in the GL_DAILY_RATES table.
Always use the interface table.
Do not load rates directly into the GL_DAILY_RATES table
The insert, update, or deletion of rates in GL_DAILY_RATES is done automatically by database triggers on the GL_DAILY_RATES_ INTERFACE table.
There is no need to run import programs.
Develop an automated process that populates the interface table with your daily rates information.
See Oracle user guide for details.
