problem in installing rapidwiz 9 Years ago  
Yes sir,I have entered using root but still it is not showing me the host name and domain name.But I have opened the file where the host name and domain name are written using gedit of which the screenshot is attached herewith. http://handsonerp.com/images/fbfiles/images/oracle_4.png

Few things
1) Sorry I have been away for a while and could not attend inquiries
2) Please add your posts to the existing thread. If you create a new thread then I would not know the context of the discussion.
3) From what I see is that you have attached two screen shots.
In the first one I see your host name and server name as localhost.localdomain

In the second screen shot you are entering a wrong command.

So if both the screen shots belong to your installation that we can ignore the second one.

Based on the first screen shot, I can say that during the linux installation you did not overwrite the host and domain name as linux.server and you continued with the default choices.

Now if you like you can continue with rapidwiz installation and use localhost.localdoman instead of linux.server.

Or if you are comforatable with linux then you can modify the host and domain names.
su root
ed /etc/hosts
