I am running into the exact same problem as what's described in one of the past thread, and I didn't see any solution. Can you tell me if the issue was resolved then? and how to fix it?

I followed the same setup steps and verified them twice. Only thing I notice is in the Tax Options form, it requires to enter account in Account Tax Rates tab. but it doesn't help even I enter a value there.

The issue is resolved. two configurations need to change :
1) Add party HM Consulting OU to Tax Regime ‘CA GST ‘
2) Create Tax Option for “HM Consulting OU” instead of “HM Consulting”
