Using VMWARE PLAYER VERSION 3 13 Years, 8 Months ago  
hi can i use latest vmware player V3 instead of vmware server. This new version allow us to create vm as well. As i am using vm player in windows 7 for xpmode to run oracle 9i so i dont want to use vmware server is it possible to install oracle linux enterise with vmware player. So please help me out thanks.

I have not really tested this software in my lab, so I cannot comment. Theoretically it should work. If you like you can try creating a VM through the player and follow the rest of the steps from the videos. (Create vm, install linux on the vm, install Oracle on linux .... ). Worse Case: You will end up removing the player and installing the VMWare...

hi, In documentation notes of this software it says that it support oracle enterprise linux 4 & 5 so I also it want be an issue well what ever the results will be i will inform you thanks.
