System Holds in AP 13 Years ago  
Hello Hasan,

Can you please advise as you mentioned that System Holds should be handled only by fixing the problem so if the manual Release allowed option is allowd on that system hold so can we release it without fixing the problem.

You can manually release some holds (depending on their setup). If you release a hold that Payables applied during Approval (given that it is manually releasable), the next time you submit Approval, Payables will not reapply the same hold. System will not override your manual intervention.
