Hope you`ve been doing well.

I was learning E-Business Tax and I`m stuck while I`m generating Tax lines from GL (Video 25)

I followed all your videos since beginning for the EB-Tax Setup and made the setup accordingly starting from creating Tax Authority (video 15) to Enabling Tax for GL (video 24).

But, when I came to my GL and entering a new journal and trying to generate the tax lines, I have this Error:

No tax options have been defined for this journal`s ledger and organization. (You can see this error in the attachment in the last page, the last screen shot)

I did defined Tax options for my GL Ledger and I can see the Tax, Tax regimes, status, rates etc., in the LOV when I go and define tax options in my GL.

I don`t know why it still says I did not define any tax options. Not sure if I`m doing wrong somewhere. I followed all your videos as it is.

I`m attaching all the screen shots here in this attachment. Could you please have a look and let me know what might be wrong?

I would appreciate your help. I`m stuck with this and cannot move forward.

System is not able to find tax configuration for the legal entity QVT Consulting. Have you attached this LE to your tax regime?

Ok I saw the images for your LE and OU setups. Thanks.
Usually thing error comes up with OU is not attached to GL Responsibility using MO: Operating Unit profile option. In your images in could see you have done that at responsibility level.
Could you please verify this profile option is set at site level as well?
Other setup looks good. The chain looks complete GL Responsibility -> Legal Entity -> Tax Regime -> Taxes and so on...

Nope, I have the same problem.It says "no tax options have been defined for this organization" when I make the Tax to REQUIRED while entering the journals.

Looks like something is missed somewhere. I am unable to point that out. I might have to produce your scenario to rule out any impact of the new release. Sorry I dont have a solution off hand.

I am running into the exact same problem right now. Did you find a solution for this?
I followed the same setup steps and verified them twice. Only thing I notice is in the Tax Options form, it requires to enter account in Account Tax Rates tab. but it doesn't help even I enter a value there.

Please open a new thread for your problem. If you can post screen shots of your steps, I can try replicating the issue on my system and see if I can explain the cause. I tried doing that for ERPKumar and was unable to replicate the issue, unfortunately. Thanks.
