To start with I would like to see the full error message. You can take the screen shot and upload it to the forum. First post your message then click on Edit option and then upload the image.
This error is most likely coming from Oracle Virtual Box than Oracle Rapidwiz but I cannot say anything until I see the error message. Also let me know which version of Oracle VM have you downloaded.

To troubleshoot the error I need to look at the log file. VBox.log
Thanks

I am trying to find out the cause. None of the members have reported this problem before.
Please confirm if you have specified the size of the memory in multiples of 1024?

i am sure i might not consider the memory in multiples of 1024..do you think it might be an issue not having multiples ?

Yes memory has to be in multiples of 1024 as there is a bug associated with the recent version of VM.
Bring it to the same size as 2048 so that we can reduce the uncertainties. See if that fixes the issue.

Here is a similar issue: http://handsonerp.com/forum.html?func=view&id=3099&catid=2#3099

Sorry for the late reply. For our purposes keep the hardware acceleration option unchecked (unless it is enabled in your BIOS - advance topics).
