Can anyone please tell me why we implemented oracle Receivables has done by Hassan without defining inventory orgs,because even when we are not using inventory we still need to define the inventory org in HR.

You dont need to define Inventory Organization in order to use normal features of Receivables. You can simply create standard memo lines and populate your transaction lines based on that as oppose to picking items from inventory org. This works perfectly fine as you can see in the videos. Some modules like Purchasing forces you to create a dummy Inventory Org even if you dont want to use it (like service companies) but Receivables and Payables are not one of those modules. Payables forces you to create Inventory Org only if Purchasing is in use.
(I have to verify if that still the case with AR in the most recent release or not, as I noticed some people are complaining they cannot save the transaction line unless they specify inventory org.)
